Tips for Decluttering and Purging Old Spices
Gather all of your spices and take them to the dining room table
Use a magnifying glass to see the ‘Best By Dates’ on your jars
Check spices one by one. Carefully smell the herbs and spices and if they are lacking aroma, go ahead and toss them.
If there is a spice that is still full of flavor but you don’t plan on using it, consider mixing complimentary flavors together to create your own spice blends - you could even give these as gifts!
